Familia Youth Ministry

The Familia Youth Ministry (FYM) was established in 2010 with the objective of establishing an FYM wherever Familia is in order to produce thousands of young adults bravely living their Catholic faith and passionately witnessing to their fellow young adults everywhere.

The Mission of FYM is be “Living Examples” and its Vision is to become “Society Movers and Evangelizers”. It is awe inspiring that these statements were developed by the Young Adults themselves in the 2013 Visioning session facilitated by the FYM Core Team. They cooperated with the Holy Spirit who inspired them with the reading from 1 Timothy 4:12, “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity”.

To date, FYM is present in key Familia areas where regular Youth Groups are held to nurture and support our youth. Also, Camp Eureka, the national flagship faith-and-courage building program of FYM, is being held annually , without fail, since the FYM inception in 2010.
