Last Friday, our topic was “What has the Lord been telling you in your prayer time?”
Ang host, sina Bro. Ting and Sis. Marissa Manese. At doon kami nagmi-miting sa bahay nila Bro. Danny and Sis. Linda Pinlac…sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Yes, sa homecel namin, 4 couples live in the area – Bro. Errol and Sis. Nerisse Ramos, Bro. Dave Dave and Sis. Ethel San Juan, Bro. Lawrence and Sis. Kahlyl Guevara and Bro. Danny and Sis. Linda Pinlac. Yung 2 couples are from Sucat, Paranaque – Bro. Ting and Sis. Marissa Manese and Bro. Andrew and Rose Rancap. And of course, kami ni Sis. Imee, taga-Mandaluyong City!
One by one, we shared our victories and our challenges. More importantly, we shared about the insights we have been receiving in our prayer time and in our prayer life.
In the midst of challenges in our business – “naku, parang mahina and negosyo ngayon”
Our work – “ang daming trabaho”, “madaming pasaway”, “off target ang team”
Our frustrations and unmet expectation – “kulang ang 24 hours ko, others don’t seem to care as much”
Recent accidents and mishaps that involved family members – “ano ba ito, sunod-sunod!”
the resounding message from the Lord is to be brave, live in the moment, rest in His love and TRUST Him.
In life, we don’t always win or get what we want exactly how we want it, when we want it. Right?
The more important thing is that we put love in all we do and offer it to the Lord. We give our best because God gave His best.
When what we want or what we have planned, does not materialize or is not achieved – believe that a better plan get’s fulfilled. God’s will. God’s plan.
