Miracles and Conversions

Written by Jonnafe Delfin

We joined Familia way back 2007.  I was full of hope that my husband would completely change but his drug dependence got worse and was put in rehab twice.  I never stopped praying.

As if that’s not enough, our business spiraled downwards and we got buried in debt.  2014 was a really difficult year financially and in 2015, the biggest blow came.  Our daughter, JM, was found to have a tumor in her brain.

In my prayers, I was asking, Lord, why is this happening to my family?

We held on to this faith and belief that God will give us this miracle.  Despite not so encouraging diagnosis and prognosis, we prayed.  JM was bed-ridden and could not walk.  Her young body went through medical procedures for 2 years.  Despite negative remarks from people about our sufferings, still we prayed.  We still focused on the brighter side and hoped against hope.  I counted every little blessing.  Yun ang naging inspirasyon ko.

And then it happened.  God gave us the miracle we kept praying for.  Today, my husband is drug-free.  JM, who they said will never walk again…is well.  She can walk, jump and dance!

GOD is always present, He never abandons us.  We just have to trust and wait.

GOD is indeed good all the time!
