An amazing family like the Dimaano’s are always a delightful sight when you see them serving. Here’s what the siblings say about life in community:
Ronn Dimaano:
“We were still very young kids when our parents joined Familia in 2003.
I remember they would bring us to prayer meetings and sector gatherings all the time.
Since then, we’ve been exposed to life in community even if we would just play on the sides with other kids.”
Hanhan Dimaano:
But as we grew up, our interest in music also became intense that when our parents became parish heads in Our Lady of Fatima in San Pedro, Laguna, my brothers and I would serve as music ministry during prayer meetings & in all YA gatherings or assemblies.
James Dimaano:
Being the younger brother, I joined Familia YA a bit later. I would say that my family was my inspiration when I entered the community.
The zeal of my siblingss in their service in YA & my parent’s love & commitment to the community, stirred my desire to, also, use my passion for music for God’s mission.
Had I not been exposed to so much faithful love, prayer & music, my drive to serve would never have come to such a blossoming fruition as it has.
Ronn:
The joy we experience as we share our God given talents, made us realize that we have a purpose in life. And that is to serve the youth and the community through these gifts. Now, we also serve the FYA ministry as senior YAs, facilitators, and speakers.
Hanhan:
It‘s really such great joy having the Lord in our lives & experiencing His love in our family & thru our community. We give Him thanks for all He has done & given to us.
